Dr. Devon Wright holds a Ph.D. in sociology and is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies, teaching various courses on Black protest movements, Black politics, Hip-Hop culture, and interdisciplinary research methods. With 20 years of college instruction, historian and sociologist Dr. Devon Wright specializes in race and ethnicity, as well as social science research methods. He is consistently engaged in the academic culture beyond the classroom via conference presentations and community forums. Additionally, Dr. Wright is a public speaker and educator on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
